We had the pleasure of sitting down with Ariel Niu, Email and SMS Marketing Automation Manager at Precision Nutrition. We had the chance to discuss how Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) has positively impacted their business and what it was like to work with us as their implementation partner.
First… Who is Precision Nutrition?

What problems were you trying to solve with Salesforce Marketing Cloud?
Before migrating to SFMC, we were using 1ShoppingCart for our email marketing needs. Unfortunately, there were many limitations with the tool that restricted us to meet our goals and expand the business.
We brought on Bubblebox as our implementation partner to review and create recommendations for how our existing configuration could be replicated in SFMC, while adhering to best practices.
What have you been able to achieve since implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud?
Now that we’re on SFMC, there’s a ton we can do in terms of email marketing and reporting. With our previous system, we weren’t able to track our email engagement and performance metrics. We didn’t know whether our emails were succeeding, what type of emails resonated with our customers, and if we needed to adjust our strategy. The reporting features in SFMC were something we were ecstatic about.
With our new reporting capabilities, we’re able to track engagement, deliverability and conversion, as well as track on different segments. With A/B testing within our journeys and our regular broadcast emails, we are able to test and track the performance of our emails. We have a lot of triggered emails and user journeys, so having the ability to track and test has been an immense benefit for our business.
Prior to SFMC, we had low deliverability and never implemented a re-engagement strategy or contact list clean up. When we were in the process of migration, Bubblebox walked us through an exercise to help clean up our email list and remove faulty emails, which ultimately positively impacted our deliverability rate.

What makes Bubblebox standout from other competitors?
Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with other implementation and consultant partners and found Bubblebox to be more personable, responsive, and knowledgeable. They were timely in resolving issues that arose and resolving ad hoc requests.
During our implementation phase, I’d make a note of additional ways to optimize and integrate our data sources. When I expressed my ideas to Andrew, our Bubblebox Technical Consultant, he was able to address them right away. Andrew is a strong technical resource that goes above and beyond our ask.
Another thing that’s unique to our company that may present an issue for other implementation partners is the fact that we’re fully remote. It’s not like we have the opportunity to gather as a group to discuss and come to Bubblebox with what we need. A lot of times it was different people asking for different things and sending requests to Bubblebox. I appreciate how Andrew and Rob, our Project Manager, were able to capture and address all our requests.
Any last thoughts you’d like to add?
With everything we’ve implemented so far, we’ve only covered the tip of the iceberg. As we wrap up our migration process, we have many more projects we’re excited to executive, including MobileConnect. We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Bubblebox and implementing new strategies to optimize and expand our business.
